Mental for NZ players

What makes Mental different

Mental is a Nolimit City title set in an asylum, combining the studio’s signature xNudge wilds with an xSplit mechanic. xSplit symbols split into two copies of themselves on landing, doubling symbol coverage without occupying extra reel space — effectively acting as a value multiplier for any symbol they touch. Combined with xNudge wilds’ accumulating multipliers, the two mechanics interact to produce complex high-value outcomes.

xNudge Wilds

xNudge wilds fill their reel and gain +1x multiplier per row nudged. A wild nudging 5 rows becomes a 5x full-reel multiplier wild.

xSplit symbols

An xSplit symbol splits into two copies when it lands, each occupying adjacent positions. If an xSplit lands next to a high-value symbol or an xNudge wild, the duplication effectively doubles the contribution of that position to win evaluation. Multiple xSplits interact with multiple xNudge wilds to generate multiplicative combinations.

Free Spins modes

• Mental Free Spins (3 scatters): 6 spins with enhanced xNudge and xSplit frequency
• Insane Free Spins (4+ scatters or upgrade purchase): higher-still enhancement, with xNudge multiplier floor and additional xSplit stacking

RTP and volatility

Published RTP: 96.0%. Extreme volatility — base game variance is high even by Nolimit City standards.

Playing Mental at NZ casinos

Available at Nolimit City-carrying NZ casinos including Ice Casino and V.Vegas. The dark asylum theme is divisive — some players find it compelling, others off-putting. The mechanics are among the most complex in the Nolimit catalogue.
